To design and make an A3 poster for the night Strangeways at club Wire in Leeds. Live brief and the possibility to have my work distributed over 500 flyer's and posters across Leeds city centre. woo.
Focusing on the concept of what is strange? Chosen to use the concept, removing to expected from its surrounding producing the unexpected.
Below is the initial photo shoot taken, i used three models primp and nicely dressed and asked them in turn to put on the horses head mask - this was the strange, surreal elements removing the expected from its original surroundings.
After the shoot i started to play around with each individual image to see which model worked best in the mask ect. Below are my initial designs of placing the models into the context of the poster.

Play around with background colouring, and stock to be printed on. At the moment possibly targeted too much toward the female audience.
