Set PIeces!!

One thing which i should of assumed when embarking on this brief when choosing to do it 3D in my hand crafted style was purely how time consuming and laborious it was going to be. It didn't actually cross my mind at how fiddly it would be to cut out single letters and place them etc which was stupid of me.

However as i do enjoy cutting things out, once i st down and got into a nights work at my desk I did find it fairly therapeutic. Below shows some of the test pieces which would be used in the installation.

Hand drawn 2D illustaion to 3D- pop up illustration. I particularly liked the angle in which i shot this - this may be an aspect of 3D illustration which i would consider for my FMP next term.

The final set design to hold all the elements for the piece. I made it out for three shoe boxes cut and mix matched together as i didn't want to make a box by hand from card from scratch. So all in all not a bad job.
