Ted Baker breif!!

This was a two week brief to design and make an interesting and engaging shop window display for Ted Bakers Autumn Winter collection for 2010. Ted Baker is a British brand and has a unique tongue and check sense of humour and quirkyness.

Designing a shop window display was something which did not particularly appeal to me after doing my work experience with Matt Wingfield helping him design displays for Topman and Whistles as i didn't particularly enjoy it. However i thought i should push myself and go for it as it would be a nice quick breif for me to produce and turn around to help me develop my 3D illustration style.

I started my research by looking at some classic British sayings and slang. Taking these and placing them in the famous and now slightly over used war world one poster. I thought this would capture Bakers sense of humour and it would turn heads by using bold, bright current season colours!

As i said above i then decided that i wanted to use this brief to focus and develop my hand rendered illustration style and this would not help me in it so i decided not to take this idea any further.
